Projects in Egypt:

  • Central Business District at the New Administrative Capital - Zone 1: Iconic Tower, Egypt, Detailed design (under BIM management), tender documents and supervision of construction for The Iconic Tower which is planned to rise in Egypt’s Sky with approx. (+ or -) 385m super tall skyscraper, which will be identified as ’’THE TALLEST TOWER IN AFRICA’’. The Iconic Tower’s mixed-use program comprises “Offices, 5 star Hotel, Service Apartments, Observation Deck and Commercial Retails” encompassing a large amount of the area development density of the whole destination. The development will include 241,500 m² of BUA above & below ground in addition to site external works to the extent of net parcel limits which is approx. 52,400 m² while the gross parcel area will be 65,650 m².
  • New Administrative Capital, Egypt, Programme management, design review and construction supervision for the New Governmental District over a site area of 566 acres, and consisting of 34 ministerial buildings, and Cabinet and Parliament buildings. Total built- up area: 1.68 million m2. The scope covers all electromechanical installations and networks.
  • Central Business District at the New Administrative Capital - Zone 3: Residential, Egypt, Detailed design (under BIM management), tender documents and supervision of construction for 5 residential towers varying in height between 152 m (35 floors above ground) and 205 m (51 floors above ground). Each tower consists of one or two basement levels for car-parking and services, and upper structure for apartments of various types. The scope covered kitchen, laundry, plumbing, fire-fighting, HVAC, district cooling, chilled water, and other mechanical systems and installations. Total built-up area for the 5 towers: 457,540 m². Total net site area: 88,392 m².
  • Greater Cairo Metro Line III - Phase 4b, Egypt, Detailed design (under BIM management) for a 15.8 km long metro line with 11 stations, extending from the centre of Heliopolis District to Cairo Airport and Cairo Ring Road. The alignment includes a 6.5 km long viaduct; 5 elevated stations, comprising 4 typical twin-track and twin-platform elevated stations and one 3-track twin-platform terminal elevated station with shunting tracks; one depot for heavy and light maintenance (workshop) with 32 buildings; and all wet infrastructure and electromechanical services.
  • Madinaty Medical Centre, Egypt, Detailed design and tender documents for a healthcare facility consisting of an Ambulatory Services Section for ENT, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology, and dental clinics with the required EEG, ECG, EMG; Emergency Department for resuscitation, triage, fast-track, observation, cast, and procedure services with direct access to other related departments; full radiology services (MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, X-Ray, US); day treatment and endoscopy unit; high tech Chest Pain Unit (CPU) with 4 CCU rooms; surgical suite with 4 operating rooms; Critical Care Unit with 20 separate inpatient rooms, including isolation rooms; obstetrics and gynecology unit with 11 separate inpatient rooms, including isolation rooms; labour and delivery, and caesarean delivery units with all related facilities and accesses; Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with various types of incubators; pediatric unit with 7 separate inpatient rooms; Pediatric Critical Care Unit (PICU) with 4 separate inpatient rooms, including isolation rooms; medical/surgical unit with 44 separate inpatient rooms, isolation rooms, 4 suites, and 2 VIP rooms; and all the required medical support and logistics facilities including laboratory, pharmacy, sterilization centre, food services, laundry, security, etc.
  • Consultancy Services For Emaar Square, Uptown Cairo, Egypt, Detailed design calculations and report for HVAC systems utilised in High Rise Buildings. Emaar Square is an urban center of Uptown Cairo consists of shopping mall, residential towers, office towers and entertainment buildings, with total foot print area of 150,000 m2.

Projects in Rwanda:

  • New Bugesera International Airport - Presidential Campus, Rwanda, Detailed design (under BIM management) for the presidential campus of the New Bugesera Airport (NBIA) which includes the following 4 buildings:
    Presidential Terminal Building
    - Two leveled building which includes routes for the President, VVIP and VIP personnel.
    - It also includes spaces for press interface with the travelling personnel.
    Presidential Terminal Checkpoint
    - Surface level entry spot for the terminal complex
    - Includes the screening of vehicles
    - Entry spot of all terminal users including staff, press, service and good.
    Presidential Gate
    - Presidential entry to the terminal Apron
    Presidential Maintenance Hanger
    - Hanger space for maintenance of presidential aircrafts.
  • New Bugesera International Airport - ARFF Building, Rwanda, Detailed design (under BIM management) for the ARFF Facility Building of the New Bugesera Airport (NBIA).
    The planned ARFF facility includes a three-story building and seven bays with a total area of 3,547 square meters.
    NBIA will be an ARFF Category 9 airport based on the fleet mix forecast, but if the A380 operates at the airport, it will be increased to Category 10.
    Both categories require three rescue and firefighting (RFF) vehicles.
  • New Bugesera International Airport - GSE Building, Rwanda, Detailed design (under BIM management) for the GSE Building of the New Bugesera Airport (NBIA).
    The planned GSE building is a two-level building with a total area of 7,035 square meters (excluding the roof level). GSE space requirements for NBIA were based on the amount of GSE expected at the airport.

Projects in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:

  • Design & Engineering Services for Al-Khafji Land Port, Saudi Arabia, Detailed design (under BIM management), tender documents for the AL-KHAFJI land port, the main access point to/from Kuwait at Al-Khafji Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia . The master plan and buildings will reside on a core buildings site area of circa 1,800,000sqm, and a total site area including access roads and landscape of circa 5,000,000 sqm. The Project is a border gate, and consists of the master plan, infrastructure, and building design for the following items:
    - Inbound and outbound road connections and bridges
    - Secured Processing Area
    - Site Infrastructure work
    - The project involves the preparation of the detailed structural design of 5 bridges and 4 underpasses.
    The project aims LEED silver requirements ,however no certification is needed.
  • Madinah Haram Expansion, Saudi Arabia, Master plan, detailed design (under BIM management) and supervision of construction for the expansion of the Prophet's Mosque and its piazzas in Madinah to increase their overall capacity to over 1,600,000 worshipers. The project comprises 4,740,000 m2 of new praying areas, addition of a second floor on top of King Fahd's existing extension (Second Saudi Extension) with a total area of 211,000 m2, and the construction of a new expansion building with a total area of 2,490,000 m2. Works also included a Central Utility Complex (CUC) with all required electromechanical installations; infrastructure utility networks; solid waste management system; toilet and ablution facilities; parking areas and access roads; security, low-current and telecommunication systems; and extensive landscaping.
  • Quba Mosque Expansion, Saudi Arabia, Concept and detailed designs, and tender documents for the expansion of the mosque to increase its capacity from 5,000 to 80,000 worshipers, including 2 car-park basement levels for 2,000 cars, surface parking for 400 cars and 30 busses, and all related services.
  • Makkah First Ring Road and Bus stations, Saudi Arabia, Detailed design and tender documents for the 2 transportation stations of Kudai and Jabal Al Kaaba, each one consisting of a bus station, metro station, retail area, and a concourse. Both stations are designed to serve 23,000 worshipers during Pilgrimage season.
  • Roof Shading and Air Tempering for Madinah Haram Mosque, Saudi Arabia, Detailed design and tender documents for the shading structure serving the highest part of the mosque's roof and linking it to the existing concrete shading structure from one side and to the sliding domes from the other side. The scope also covered air tempering works beneath the new and existing shading structures.
  • Tender documents for the Relocation of MOF Existing Offices to PNU Old Campus, Saudi Arabia, Retrofitting of existing Mechanical systems serving administrative buildings of Princess Nora University to be used by Ministry of Finance officials till finishing their new building.

Projects in Qatar:

  • Consultancy Services for Al Waab City Central District - Phase 1, Qatar, Detailed design (under BIM management) and tender documents for 6 parcels within Phase 1 development, consisting of the Commercial/Office Building; Gateway twin apartment buildings of an "L" shape; 3 towers with a gross floor area of 60,982 m2 for residential use and 1,750 m2 for retail services; 4 towers with a gross floor area of 91,518 m2 for residential use, 2,127 m2 for retail services and 169 m2 for public facilities; townhouse apartments; district cooling plant (total capacity 12,000 TR); primary substation; and all infrastructure services.
  • Lead Consultancy Services for MEP Upgrades of Selected Premises at Education City, Qatar, Detailed design and supervision of construction for the upgrade of MEP systems for the headquarters building, Al-Jazeera Channel building, 2 school buildings, a recreation centre, and the existing Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) with its extension. The scope covered plumbing, fire alarm and protection, HVAC, main and standby power supply, low-current, and other systems.
  • Design Consultancy Services For Majlis, Mosque and Schools – DOHA, Qatar, Detailed design and tender documents for Mosque for 1000 prayers in addition to a Majlis that has a gathering hall for 350 visitors and a dining hall with all the supporting facilities. The site also includes infrastructure support utilities such as water tanks, holding tanks, electrical substation etc.
  • CP07-B - Lusail Towers Infrastructure, LRT Station, Car-Park and Landscape, Qatar, Detailed design (under BIM management and achieving GSAS 4 stars), tender documents, and technical assistance during construction for various project components, including a 2 -level tunnel along Road A1, combined LRT station of an area of 14,0000 m², multi-storey underground car-park, bridge at Junction No.19, six 11 kV substations, wet infrastructure utilities (sewerage, irrigation, drainage), public realm features, and integration of gas, district cooling and pneumatic waste collection systems, and other enabling works.

Projects in United Arab Emirates:

  • RIU Hotel - Deira Island, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Detailed design (under BIM management) and tender document for the main hotel building (785 guestrooms); 3 swimming pools; main pool restaurant and 2 secondary restaurants; several ancillary buildings; chiller plant; and all infrastructure services. The chiller plant encloses chillers, boilers and main irrigation tanks and pumps. Total floor area: 55,530 m².
