Abdullah Fawzy

I'm Abdullah Fawzy, a robotics enthusiast with a strong focus on electrical systems. My journey began at Innova STEM Education, where I joined the electrical team and gained hands-on experience designing PCBs using EAGLE software, while building a solid foundation in fundamental electrical principles.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I experienced a brief gap in activities and struggled to find a suitable team to continue my growth. However, a few months ago, I joined VORTEX ACADEMY as an electrical team member, where I actively prepared for the MATE ROV Regional Competition. During this time, I refreshed my understanding of core electrical concepts, explored advanced topics, and designed our ROV’s PCB using Altium Designer. I also worked with more complex hardware components crucial to underwater robotics.

Our team earned first place in the regional competition and qualified for the world championship. I now serve as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the team, and we are determined to compete at the highest level and aim for a top global ranking.
