Safety Program Development:

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies tailored to the unique hazards and risks associated with cement plant operations.
• Conduct regular safety assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with management and departmental heads to establish safety goals, objectives, and performance metrics.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, standards, and guidelines set forth by government agencies (e.g., OSHA, EPA) and industry organizations.
• Keep abreast of regulatory changes and updates, and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.

Risk Management:

• Identify and assess risks associated with plant operations, including machinery, equipment, materials, and processes.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including engineering controls, administrative controls, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses (JHAs) to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Training and Education:

• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors, including new hire orientation, hazard awareness, emergency response, and job-specific training.
• Provide ongoing safety education and communication to promote awareness and compliance with safety policies and procedures.

Planning and Design:

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand electrical requirements and specifications.
• Develop electrical plans and designs in accordance with project goals, budget, and timeline.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Installation and Construction:

• Supervise the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, electricians, and other tradespeople to ensure proper implementation of electrical designs.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety of electrical installations.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of electrical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Prepare progress reports, status updates, and other relevant documentation for project stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers regarding project status and requirements.

Safety and Compliance:

• Implement safety measures and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Stay informed about industry standards, best practices, and regulatory changes related to electrical systems.
• Ensure that all electrical work meets quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
