- Review and monitor on daily basis all process parameters in each plant, compare with standard figures and correct if required through the following steps:
- Process data sheets to be collected from EAF, LF, TSC and HSM
- Review the collected process parameters and compare with the aimed figures according to clean steel process parameters
- Take the necessary action in case of deviation from the aimed figures
- Issue a daily report giving a whole overview of the plant performance from the operation and quality point of view
- Evaluate and study product non-conformity - if any - and recommend the corrective action to overcome such defect, through the following steps:
- Collect all the process data related to the defected product
- Compare the collected process data with the aimed figures for each item
- Carry on the required tests to identify the problem (chemical, mechanical, metallographic, microstructure,..etc)
- Analyze the collected data together with the test results (if any) to find out the most possible reasons for the defect
- Issue the necessary corrective action
- Participating in major projects of developing the added value steel grades and continuously analyze/evaluate the different modified and newly developed steel grades performance
