As the head of the Infrastructure and Information Security department of Rashid Petroleum Company (Rashpetco) and after 15 years of diverse working experience and projects inside Rashpetco and other sister Petroleum Companies, as well as the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum, my current role includes preparing the department’s yearly budget, studying and planning new IT Infrastructure and Information Security projects according to business needs, interfacing with business partners (BP Shell and previously BG) in all data security-related subjects, and conducting Information Security Analysis Assessments and reviewing the information security posture of IT infrastructure and applications.
