Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify the assessments, and analysis for credit applications of retail banking customers through assessing the minimum credit acceptance criteria according to the set policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure effective screening of applications before going through the credit assessment process.
  • Assess respective portfolio of customers' applications for cards and loans (Secured and Unsecured) while ensuring its alignment with the set policies and procedures for minimum checking criteria in order to mitigate bank's risk and filter applications for credit assessment process.
  • Transactions monitoring for retail and business banking applicants.
  • Process all the incoming applications in order to meet productivity targets within products with effective turnaround time.
  • Evaluate credit history to make a conscious decision on approving or disapproving credit by using a range of criteria including purpose of application, credit viability, customer’s payment history and customer credit-worthiness.
  • Assure that all pre screeners officers follow the relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that team's performance is complying with business controls and consistent standards.
  • Champion for corporate credit cards issuance and providing the daily reports to the concerned departments.
  • Assist new comers employees by providing them with the required training, and monitor their performance to assure all the above points are applied effectively and efficiently.
  • Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, bank laws, AML regulations, internal Bank policies, and the code of conduct in order to mitigate any potential risks.
