Accomplishments

  • Maintenance turnaround supervisor - Ethydco, October 2021.
  • In addition to overseeing the minor overhauls and maintenance tasks during the turnarounds at SIDPEC, my role expanded significantly when Ethydco made the decision to schedule the first turnaround in October 2021, I was entrusted with a pivotal role. I assumed complete responsibility for the minor overhaul of the three trains—201, 501, and 601 compressors and their turbines, all of which were manufactured by Mitsubishi. Leveraging my expertise, I recommended the necessary spare parts essential for the overhaul process after meticulous equipment assessments. Collaborating with the procurement team, I prepared and purchased spare parts not available in our inventory. I meticulously conducted measurements for all the clearances of the journal bearings and labyrinth seals, ensuring that every detail was scrutinized for optimal performance. Additionally, I led the replacement of the dry gas seals for the compressors, a critical step in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of these intricate systems.

  • Participate with team as a turnaround maintenance engineer Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Co. (SIDPEC), July 2017.
  • My expertise was further recognized when Ethydco Company specifically recommended my involvement in the second major overhaul of the propane refrigerant compressor 2-GB-501. This opportunity allowed me to showcase my proficiency in handling complex machinery, ensuring the optimal performance of critical systems. Moreover, I successfully conducted minor overhauls for the charge gas compressor 2-GB-201 and the ethylene refrigerant compressor 2-GB-601, including their associated steam turbines. These tasks required a deep understanding of the intricate workings of these components and a commitment to maintaining operational excellence in line with industry standards.

  • Participate with team as a Field Engineer – Host Plant training [Ethylene] – PPT Global chemical co. (PTTGC) Rayong, Thailand, 23 Nov. 2015 – 9 Dec. 2015
  • Following my successful contributions during the commissioning phase at Ethydco, I received a special recommendation from the company to undergo host plant training. This training aimed to provide me with a firsthand experience of a similar ethylene plant, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the operations. The primary objective was to guarantee a safe and efficient initial startup of our plant. Additionally, this training allowed me to identify critical scenarios and operation phases crucial for both the startup and normal operations of our plant. This proactive approach not only enhanced my expertise but also played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and secure functioning of our operations.

  • Participate with team as a turnaround maintenance engineer Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Co. (SIDPEC), July 2013.
  • I participated significant projects including the major overhaul of the steam turbines of the refrigeration cycle, specifically focusing on GG-501 and GG-601 manufactured by Siemens. Additionally, I successfully executed the major overhaul of the charge gas compressor 2-GB-201LP/HP, which was manufactured by Hitachi. These endeavors demanded meticulous planning, technical expertise, and a keen attention to detail to ensure the seamless operation and efficiency of these crucial systems within the company's infrastructure.
