Job Description:

• Improve mechanical equipment reliability thought implementation of reliability engineering principles, techniques and tools, such as risk based maintenance (RBM) and root cause failure analysis (RCFA)
• Coordinate with other maintenance divisions and operations in refinery to discuss, develop, review and mange mechanical equipment maintenance and reliability strategies
• Contribute in development of predictive, preventive maintenance and procedures for all mechanical equipment plans and provide technical expertise for mechanical equipment maintenance activities as per international standards
• Provide technical assistance and trouble shooting support for all mechanical equipment and ensure that all maintenance activities and procedures are align with reliability requirement
• Work closely with other maintenance divisions to determine and predict mechanical equipment components life using appropriate reliability tools, such as failure mode effects and reliability analysis (FEMCA), mean time between failure (MTBF), mean time to failure (MTTF) to ensure extended operating life of rotating equipment
• Provide technical advice with regards to searching for and preparing new mechanical equipment proposal and review equipment specifications, documents and drawings
• Ensure keeping and maintaining and updating database of all historical data pertaining to mechanical equipment failures and assist in analysis failure data and prepare reliability test reports
• Develop, mange and review maintenance strategy
• Develop short / long term renovation plans / budget based on risk management of obsolescence equipment, approve and supervise engineering and design of modifications for all rotating equipment
• Involved in equipment criticality study for entire the refinery
• involved in RCM study for refinery equipment

• Lead, Facilitate RCA process team and meetings for refinery mechanical equipment from worldwide OEM's like:-

- ELLIOTT EBARA (turbine, compressor, pumps)

- SHIN-NIPPON (Pumps and turbine) ,ETC

Job Description:

• Establish in conjunction with Maintenance a Rotating Equipment Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective Maintenance Programs.
• Ensure that all new and existing rotating equipment installations and maintenance activities are completed in accordance with applicable standards
• Make recommendations to implement/expedite repairs on failed rotating equipment.
• Execute shutdowns and turnarounds procedures whether programmed or unexpected.
• Develop and support procedures for routine repairs of rotating equipment i.e. "Major Rotating Equipment Repair Guidelines and Overhaul Procedure".
• Contribute to the preparation of maintenance plans and budgets
• Ensure the provision and management of the Two Years Spares for critical Mechanical equipment Ensure the provision of the Capital Spares for critical rotating equipment
• Develop spare part strategy for new installations and oversee implementation. Also review spare part strategy for existing equipment as needed. Make recommendations to improve designs to
• Manage and allocate resources (manpower, tools and equipment) to achieve successful project execution phases (pre commissioning, commissioning, EPC hand over, and performance test run until the normal operation)
• Review specifications, bid packages, design and fabrication drawings, and recommend manufacturers for rotating equipment
• Coordinate and supervise field repair contractors. Contribute in systematic root causes failure analysis (RCFA) and problem solving techniques
