Summary

I have been involved in the implementation of numerous GIS data projects for a variety of industries, which has enabled me to develop the skills necessary to become a proficient Data Team Leader. Additionally, the ability to interpret the quality requirements for projects and conduct an in-depth assessment of the generated data to guarantee the highest quality level is made possible by working in different fields. This enabled me to acquire a wealth of experience in data processing, such as being capable of handle a variety of data formats, including raster and vector data, and the utilization of various Esri package tools to achieve the desired targets with the highest degree of precision. Additionally, I gained remote sensing experience in image handling, processing, and interpretation. Furthermore, I am responsible for the analysis necessary to collect and manage various types of geographic data and formats, as well as the analysis of the challenges encountered during data management, processing, and data conversion and migration. I am also responsible for the control of data production procedures, the determination of their acceptance criteria, and the measurement of their quality to ensure the quality of the final data output.

  • I had the privilege of leading the Data Quality Control Team, which was responsible for delivering data bundles to the DGDA team. This milestone serves as a benchmark for streamlining the workflows between the GIS department and other departments with the necessary accuracy, thereby achieving the project's primary objective, which is implementing geospatial solution process automation, which provides efficient collaboration and integration between the DGDA GIS department and other departments.

  • Had the opportunity to analyze CITC data files and analyze them to check their current status and extract gaps, then document them in current Analysis and Current Status Assessment Report. As a results of the current status analysis, develop new CICTC data model and prepare the required data dictionary.

  • Had the opportunity to analyze the project’s requirements and identify the goals of EGPC of collecting the total assets of EGPC’s affiliated companies (approx. 1500 assets from 17 petroleum company) with different data types and format to build centralized database of the EGPC asset, in addition to assets collection and analysis; also supervise on the conversion and assessment team to ensure that the final data meet the specs and qualifications of the EGPC’s requirements, this throughout utilizing the Arc Desktop editing, assessment and analysis tools to accomplish project’s target.

  • As being major company in petroleum company; AGIBA have various data sources with different types, to represent their own concessions with their entire properties. QSIT had the opportunity to discover and analyze AGIBA data to aggregate them all in one unified data model that localized from ESRI data model for utilities, and apply the required collection and migration processes to unify all data in one model to apply the required analysis procedures all over departments and achieve the optimum goals from their data.

  • Was responsible for providing the latest Egypt basemap up to2019 to TRD, that contain the latest data of Egypt’s; Buildings with required and sufficient information, Roads, navigable and realistic, Major landmarks, Railways, Waterlines, …..etc. That will be used to serve TRD major security needs, targets and issues, along with Egypt satellite images and Egypt’s highways network, that have been used to enlarge the benefits and the efficiency of Egyptian roads and bridges network.

  • The project covered basemap update (Scale 1:2500) from satellite imagery for the whole of Egypt's cities.

GIS Platform Implementation for Royal Saudi Air Force
  • QSIT provided a solution that connects RSAF users at its headquarters with RSAF bases around Saudi Arabia by providing GIS content management, sharing, and collaboration capabilities to internal users within RSAF based on Esri technology for a Web GIS Platform extended to meet RSAF-specific needs and requirements. The provided solution consists of two custom Web applications. GeoData Management is a spatial data management application enabling RSAF to organize its geographic files and content, facilitating data management, access, and archiving. GeoData Discovery is a spatial data discovery application enabling the search, display, print, and download of the original data based on a user-selected area of interest. QSIT also conducted a data formats study investigating military data description and management regarding publication, access, display, clipping, and download.

  • QSIT produced Greater Cairo digital maps of scale 1:2500 using high-resolution satellite images and field surveys.

GIS System for Ministry of Tourism
  • QSIT developed a tracking application for the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism to facilitate tracking touristic buses. As part of the project, data services were delivered to cover the following Scope of services: Developing GIS data content through the digital conversion of HRS satellite images, field data collection, and allocating POIs by address and MoT Certified attractions. Cartography activities to display the final content with standardized map symbology. Delivering a complete set of navigable roads network built over Egypt's major cities (Governorates capital) connected together through the complete highways network all over Egypt.

Enterprise GIS Infrastructure for Economical Cities Authority
  • QSIT built ECA's enterprise GIS as the central spatial data repository for ECA and as the cornerstone for ECA's e-service system. Through the project, data standards were set to maintain seamless CAD/GIS integration, in addition to custom applications and interfaces that provide a decentralized solution for each of the four economic cities covered by ECA to have their GIS infrastructure and manage all their GIS data activities independently while abiding by the ECA standards for GIS data & integration requirements.

Real Estate Taxes Authority
  • As per Real Estate Taxes Authority's (RETA) decision to utilize GIS and digital maps to help identify the properties which are liable to the Real Estate tax according to the new property tax law, QSIT had been contracted to carry on building the required data content for this project. The Scope was to produce maps with a scale of 1:2500 for all Egypt cities. - More than 250 built-up areas in Egypt - in 1 year. The following services have been implemented: HRS image acquisition covering the area of interest. Rectification process using collected GCPs. Applying a radiometric correction. Mosaicing & Color Balancing for the previous images. Providing Base maps for Egypt cities (250 major cities) through the digital conversion of HRS satellite images and field data collection focusing on all properties surveying to serve the implementation of the new Real Estate Taxes law.

  • Etisalat-Misr required a GIS system to provide services and operations. QSIT provided satellite images, data processing, and survey services to build the system. The following services were provided: HRS image acquisition covering the area of interest. Rectification process using 232 GCPs. Applying the radiometric process, 73 satellite images with a total area of 3611 km2 using different types of enhancement depending on the type of features required to be extracted to make the required features appear clearer. Mosaicking& Color balancing for the previous images. Providing Base maps for Egypt cities & Geomarketing research besides tailored maps through the digital conversion of HRS satellite images and field data collection. Helping in building Etisalat business & corporate maps database through points of sales capturing and mapping. The production of digital maps of scale 1:5000 – 1:2500.

Libyan Land Registration Project
  • The Land Registry Authority (LRA) for the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya (Libya) wishes to transform and modernize how it provides land and property services. LRA commissioned KPMG UK to review the current process and investigate several modernized systems in Europe. KPMG completed its initial report at the end of May 2008 and concluded that a modernization program is required to: Provide a countrywide secure, accurate database of land ownership, Enable land ownership information to be shared with other government agencies and departments, Leap-frog earlier generation technology in use in many other countries, Establish a secure and readily accessible archive and retrieval facility.

  • QSIT developed a Geo-Centric electoral solution for the Egyptian Higher Committee for Elections to serve the election processes. The solution is built on building a Unified Geodatabase, which represents the system's core to act as a single repository for the spatial and tabular data. The solution comprises a voter's data cleansing module, a data distribution module, and a data publishing and analysis module.

  • The main objective of this project is to develop a geographic information system (GIS) to contribute effectively to the management of the fieldwork of the general census of the state of Kuwait and take advantage of GIS in the management of the census in addition to geospatial and geostatistical analysis to study social and economic indicators by updating the existing base map of 6 governorates of Kuwait with the area of 2000 km2 using newly acquired high-resolution satellite images for the desired area of interest .and then join this updated base map to census data to facilitate the decision making. The output of this project will appear as a GIS website linked to the CSO updated base map in addition to developing statistical ATLAS for Kuwait.

  • QSIT has provided MOT with the full data content for two major scopes, Tracking System Scope: This aimed to help the ministry and travel agencies track their buses and tourists. Tourists' portal Scope: this aims to serve the tourists who navigate Egypt's places. The data serviced or the previous scopes included the following: Creating the portal GIS data content through the digital conversion of HRS satellite images and field data collection and allocating POIs by address and MOT Certified attractions. Cartography activities also displayed the final content with standardized map symbology. A complete navigable roads network had been built over Egypt's Major cities (Governorates capital) connected together through a complete Highways network Over all Egypt for the tracking scope.

  • Creating a complete base map for Alexandria containing all the commercial activities within and fields data collection for all related information. Alexandria Commercial Chamber had contracted QSIT to provide the following services: RS image acquisition covering the area of interest. Rectification process using collected GCPs. Applying a radiometric correction. Mosaicing& Color Balancing for the previous images. Providing Base maps for Alexandria through the digital conversion of HRS satellite images and field data collection. Commercial activities capturing and data collection through a certain questionnaire serving the Chamber objectives.

  • Create a base map of scale 1:5000 for an area of around 11,000 km2 covering three major governorates Dakahlia, Beheira, and Fayoum.

NCCM Children at Risk Program – Girls Education Initiative
  • Girls' Education Initiative is a group of five targeted groups by The Children at Risk Program, which is implemented by the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood (NCCM) and funded by the European Community (EC). The project's main mission was to develop an enterprise GIS system to serve in the Girls' Education Initiative by supplying complete solutions, including an intensive Training Program in addition to producing a comprehensive Geodatabase for the project scope area through digitizing from rectified HRS satellite images and field survey activities, more than 10000 km2 has been surveyed, mapped and linked to Program existing database to empower.

  • Conducting Egypt 2006 Census project to provide statistical information covering all economics, social, health, and cultural areas in Egypt by data gathering, processing, and analysis. QSIT has been chosen as the sole supplier of geographic data for the project, where a full geospatial database for 100 cities has been produced from scratch using high-resolution satellite images and an extensive field survey to collect buildings, shops, streets census numbers, number of families & ownership verification where all information is injected to project geo-database which is linked to CAPMAS survey results which have been gathered through Egypt 2006 Census project. The following services have been provided over 100 cities inside Egypt distributed over all Egypt governorates: HRS satellite image acquisition with a total area of 733 km2. Rectification process using 261 GCPs. Applying the radiometric process over 222 satellite bundle images using different types of enhancement depends on the type of features required to be extracted to make the required features appear clearer. Resolution merge (Pan sharpen) process between the panchromatic and multispectral satellite images. Mosaicing and Color are balanced for the previous images. 1:2500 Base map digitization from acquired satellite images. Field survey and data collection for base map attribute data.
