  • Develop the Ministry’s Sustainable Development Strategy 2030 to align with Egypt’s vision 2030: Sustainable Development Strategy
  • Active member of “Haya Karima” steering committee which was responsible of developing tourism products and cultural handicrafts in the initiatives’ targeted areas that aimed to improve the quality of the hosting communities and environments to host and accommodate tourists
  • Develop Eco- lodges criteria to support licensing this type of lodging as an arm of the Ministry’s support to ecotourism
  • Develop the Sustainable Tourism Strategy in cooperation with UNDP’s project “Mainstreaming the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity into tourism development and operations in threatened ecosystems in Egypt”
  • Spear-headed the team that developed the Cooperation Protocol between the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Ministry of Environment to maximize our ecotourism sector and increase tourism sustainability
  • Create Egypt’s first Gastronomy brochure in cooperation with UNWTO and National Council of Women

  • Was responsible for frequently reporting progress, issues and obstacles to the Minister and the Committee regarding the assigned tasks for the Ministry to host the COP27 in Sharm El Shiekh
  • Facilitated and coordinated all the tasks with other stakeholders, ministries and authorities to assure full accomplishments
  • Attended several workshops held and organized by UNFCCC in preparedness to COP27
  • Cordially developed the mutual roadmap with UNFCCC and relevant ministries and stakeholders to COP27
  • Held coordination meeting internally, locally and internationally with relevant stakeholders to track ongoing progress for the targeted tasks in the mutual roadmap to COP27, and to work on solving obstacles
  • Was focal point for the Ministry and attended coordination meetings for the COP27 Logistics Committee held by Ministries of Environment and Foreign Affairs
  • Was member of Crisis Committee during COP27 to handle ongoing issues and assure smooth accommodation for COP27 participants and unique experience
  • Organized and coordinated several events for the Ministry which were held at the Egyptian Pavilion in the blue zone during COP27 in cooperation with relevant international organization (e.g UNWTO, UNFCCC) and stakeholders (e.g. Ministries of International Cooperation, Foreign Affairs, Environment, Electricity,..etc) which paved the way to create new initiatives regarding the climate change issue
