I am very well experienced in managing critically ill patients at bed side, following and observing my fellows; specialists as well as trainees, whom I helped train. I carry out all administrative jobs as well, with many years of experience as head of different well known hospital's ICU departments.

I am very proficient in critical care ultrasonography, with experience running many courses in the field as director and trainer.

  • I worked as a full time intensivist, covering 12 beds in the ICU; medical and surgical adults.
  • I carried responsibilities of rounding every day and after-hours coverage, putting the plan of management and supervising the application of this plan
  • I supervised / did all necessary procedures; including but not limited to intubation, Line insertion, HD monitoring, intercostal tube insertion.
  • I covered cardiac critically ill patients as CCU cases are under combined care with cardiology. I inserted temporary transvenous pacer, and did TEE when indicated
  • I am expert in doing all needed critical care ultrasound studies including TTE, Lung, abdomen and vascular and also guide all procedures by US
  • As a director, I was responsible for organizing policies, procedures, and protocols of management. It was my duty to observe the work of residents, ICU specialists, and respiratory therapists.
  • I represented the department in different committees like the senior medical board, CPR committee, and many more
