• Lead a team of Technical Office Engineers, Structural Engineers, Architects, MEP Engineers, and Quantity Surveying Engineers to review the project’s design drawings in order to implement the shop drawing designs, quantity surveying systems, and material management systems and procedures.
• Review and coordinate all engineering design submittals.
• Consultant, as well as following up on site problems and design conflicts.
• Attend progress and technical meetings, discuss, and suggest technical proposals.
• Coordinate between the construction and contractors' engineering.
• Lead teams, ensuring that all requirements are conveyed clearly and delivered upon.
• Review and approve the material transmittal.
• Manage the shop drawing team to produce project shop drawings in a timely and accurate manner, and follow up with the construction team to solve all technical problems that may arise due to construction.
• Following up with subcontractors during negotiations, and the offer, award, or subcontract terms, performance, and payments.
• Review technical and commercial assessments for marine subcontractors, as well as preparing technical and commercial assessments for marine (offshore and onshore) suppliers (PIPELIFE) and onshore works, large diameter HDPE pipeline, accessories, and GRP intake towers.
• Reviewing and following up on all the engineering technical issues.
• Related to the marine works design with marine work consultants and subcontractors/suppliers.
• Review and approve weekly and monthly progress reports in order.
• Reviewing all subcontract terms and conditions, payment methods, and all technical requirements.
• Compared vendor prices and negotiated for optimal savings.
• Support Planning and Cost Control Department in monitoring monthly construction progress.

Project: Mini-Compound Drat El Karaz, New Cairo.

• Ensure adherence to technical office policies and procedures through continuous review of the project contracts, terms and conditions, time schedule, review of design drawings, and owner/consultant’s bill of quantities (BOQ).
• Manage the Quantity Surveying team in the issuance of bills of quantities, payment approvals, and change orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review and approve the scheduled bill of quantities, request for information (RFI), and subcontractors’ invoices.
• Follow up and review the project designs with the consultant in order to prepare project shop drawings to highlight any deviations from the code and standards.

Project: Cairo International Airport Runway Upgrade (05L/23R) Project.

• Studying the project & Documents (Contracts, Specifications …. Etc.). Coordinating architecture and civil project drawings.
• Coordinate the project between the technical office, sites, and designers (architectural and structural).
• Use computers to produce designs, detailed drawings, and documentation.
• Preparing and reviewing shop drawings according to project and tender drawings and specifications.
• Check that finished works are within specifications, regulations, and contract provisions.
• Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets of the offers received from the subcontractors, and follow up on the subcontracted works, including the payment applications.
• Control the project submittals for materials, documents, and shop drawings.
• Preparing and reviewing invoices for subcontractors and owner invoices.
• Preparation of variation proposals.

Project: Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road Upgrading, Project.

• Preparing shop drawings according to the project's tender drawings and specifications.
• Design of the service building by using the SAP 2000 program and preparing the calculation sheet.
• Quantity surveying.
• Review the subcontractors' invoices, and issue the monthly and final payment applications.
• Preparation of contracts for subcontractors.
• Preparation of variation proposals.
• Participate in the preparation of the project's progress reports and periodic reporting (weekly and monthly reports).
• Responsible for creating any required construction details.
• Preparing the final as-built drawings for the different items of the project.
