Voyage Fixture of iron ore – dry bulk cargo, via Operators, Shipowners, Brokers & Agents Liability for the fixturing processes starting with Pre-Fixture, Fixture & Post Fixture;

1) Identify qualified key operators and shipowners which match our company profile

2) Identify and develop arbitrage opportunities which can add value to the Fixture

3) Accountability for all voyage calculations – voyage-based calculations

4) Accountability for all negotiations and terms for CPs, freight rate, demurrage, detention, draught survey, liability policy insurance and insurance policies

5) Liaise with internal operations on all parameters of the voyage to ensure smooth execution, meeting the scheduled time the cargo needed for and ports operation schedule and procedures.

6) Keep current and strictly implement procedures for executing fixtures, monitoring vessel performances, explaining the underlying variances especially the ballast bonus opportunities from the far east region and china

7) Understand, follow and disseminate information on changing legislation directly affecting our business from agents / ports / brokers / customers

8) Assist with weekly and monthly reporting, KPI, Bunker reports linked to freight rate fluctuation, Techno-Commercial Freight Evaluation

9) Analyze the freight market to review existing trends and develop new strategies in linkage with bunker market and vessels availability and shipping routes all externals with internals relevant to payment facilities and production schedule

10) Develop rules and processes to manage business risk in chartering operations

11) Drive a culture of innovation and efficiency

12) Lead a team of Ship Charterers

13) Monitor and manage performance of chartering business to optimize revenue for the business.

• Enhancing the Governmental procedures and creating VIP Path in cooperation with different sectors as GAFI, Foreign Affairs, Importation & Exportation Authority, Free Zone Area & Ministry of Industry and Trade ..etc
• Managing Logistics & Shipping Contracts, Service Orders/Contracts
• Including Freight, Storage, Transportation, Insurance, Cargo/Courier Accounts, relevant payments
• Managing monthly and annual reports; KPI, Shipments handling and ERP Shipments’ schedule
• Settlement of the shipping claims and demurrage minimization
• Creating effective operative linkage among involved ERP Chains starts from Treasury, Finance, Production, Logistics & Warehousing Departments
• Applying Category Management tools
• Allocating different and various resources to minimize risk and allocate savings.
• Reviewing & approving relevant Service Contracts & Orders
• Reviewing & approving relevant Exportation & Importation documentation; pre-customs, repair and return, final re-exportation for deficiency, special procedures for hazardous goods and temporary custom clearance
• Reviewing & approving annual reports; demurrage, repair claims, defected goods return, transportation moods…etc., Bi-monthly status of inbound and outbound shipments, delivery dates and expected schedule of delivery
• Establishing framework and protocol in supply chain loop as of placing service order or contract till delivery
• Establishing i-system for minimizing demurrage and storage.

• Establishing new i-archiving system for Customs Decrees and Legalizations
• Issuing & reviewing relevant documentations in shipping cycle; GAFI - FORM 5 - FORM 6- FORM 4, Payment requests, Insurance policy, LCs
• Issuing & reviewing various reports Demurrage Savings Storage cut—off Shipment Status Customs Claims
• Issuing & reviewing the required documents for special shipments (pre-customs, repair and return, final re-exportation for deficiency and hazardous goods).

• Issuing and reviewing relevant purchasing process as of; limited tenders, RFQs, supplier list, negotiations, techno-commercial evaluation, PO/Contract, relevant Incoterm, LCs and payment requests
• Amicable settlement with the suppliers/contractors and claim settlement
• Issuing and reviewing different reports, KPI & monthly achievement, IMS, Supplier / Vendor committee.

• Issuing FIDIC Contracts, such as Turn Key, Short Form, Standard Terms and Conditions
• Issuing RFQs, techno-commercial, evaluation
