• Implementing and managing comprehensive reliability programs utilizing advanced techniques like Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Maintenance Strategy, and Defect Elimination Programs.
• Driving innovative improvement projects to reduce asset downtime and costs, maximizing gold production and profitability.
• Collaborating with the finance team in business planning and budgeting, crafting shrewd short- and long-term plans for Capex and Opex costs.
• Supervising a high-performing team of condition monitoring and reliability engineers, ensuring optimal preventive maintenance and proactive problem-solving.
• Managing the structural integrity team, guaranteeing the stability and safety of all critical structural components.
• Directing the lubrication technicians team, implementing a precision lubrication program to enhance equipment lifespan and performance.

• Prepare, develop, implement, and manage proactive, predictive, and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Carry out all the new maintenance tasks with the execution team to make sure all tasks are carried out as per SWP.
• Lead a cross-functional team in implementing Aspen Mtell, a machine learning-based condition monitoring system, at our Mills. This system uses advanced signal processing and pattern recognition to predict equipment failures and prevent breakdowns, leading to increased uptime, reduced maintenance costs, and improved production efficiency.
• Leading a collaborative effort across various departments to restore our mills' inherent operational efficiency, minimize defects, and improve overall uptime.
• Troubleshooting and servicing different equipment with the execution teams (Mills, crushers, pumps, compressors, thickeners, flotations, conveyors, etc.).
• Response to the breakdowns and all emergency activities to keep the plant running.
• Prepare the scope of work for the new modifications, upgrades, and projects.
• Prepare and plan the scope of work for major overhaul and maintenance activities.
• Carry out and supervise major overhauls such as changing out the mill girth gear and trunnion, mills' full inspection, crusher bottom shell change out, ...etc.
• Providing technical support to maintenance, and operation teams.
• Participate in designing the new projects and all relevant engineering calculations (Dump leach irrigation system, tailing disposal line and booster stations, froth pumps, ...etc.).
• Carry out commissioning activities of new installations such as oxygen plant, paste plant, and new reagents area, … etc.
• Identifying and reporting on potential failures within a process.
• Restore the plant capability by reviewing the plant design, operation, installation, and all relevant parameters to production and maintenance activities.
• Review engineering specifications/drawings and propose design modifications to improve reliability within cost and other performance requirements.
• Provides solutions to recurring failures by performing RCFA and identifying the corrective actions.
• Develops FMEA processes for new or existing equipment.
• Conduct a criticality analysis for the new and existing plants.
• Leading reliability-centred maintenance program (RCM).
• Maintain KPI’s including Mean time between failure, Availability, Utilization, and Mean time to repair to measure the efficiency of the maintenance team and implement improvement system and prepare the daily, weekly, and monthly KPI’s reports.
• Using lean techniques to remove non-value-adding activities.
• Participating in the business planning and budgeting process and developing a short and long-term plan for CAPEX and OPEX costs.
• Participate in restructuring the hierarchy of the maintenance department, preparing the employees' skill inventory, and the RACI matrix.
• Performing vibration data collecting and analysis.
• Liaise with relevant teams on outcomes of tests/analysis.
• Leading the lubrication technicians’ team to ensure a precision lubrication program is in place.
• Train the technicians on lubrication duties such as oil sampling methods, correct greasing procedure, correct oil topping up procedure, and correct oil drums storage procedure.
• Establishing lubricant Contamination Control Strategies/Programs.
• Performing oil sampling, and reviewing the oil analysis reports, to monitor equipment and oil condition and recommend the required actions.
• Review and develop a lubrication program to increase asset reliability.
• Establish a database for equipment at FLIR thermal studio pro-thermography software, and conduct thermography scan and analysis.
• Carrying out dye penetrant test inspection, magnetic particle inspection, ultrasonic thickness inspection, and ultrasonic bolt elongation inspection.

• Scoping and planning identified work.
• Driving maintenance at the right cost.
• Prepare work packages for every planned maintenance activities inclusive of repetitive maintenance.
• Order, receive, and supervise required material to assist maintenance activities.
• Raise Application for New Stock Item (ANSI) to inventory team with full item description and determine the Min/Max levels depending on annual consumption and supplier’s lead time.
• Prepare spare parts and PM Lists for new equipment.
• Plan and arrange activities related to equipment maintenance to enhance equipment and plant accessibility and competence supporting site production supplies.
• Coordinate daily as well as weekly planning meetings related to maintenance.
• Coordinate plant shutdowns to attain all essential schedules.
• Coordinate to reline major assets through external suppliers.
• Collect drawings, manuals, and other documents to assist the contractors and the maintenance team.
• Provide technical assistance for supporting entire on-site maintenance activities.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly reports (cost reports, maintenance KPI’s reports, etc).
• Follow up on the progress of outside services & contractor works and Raise the Job completion form to the payment team

• Generally responsible for implementation and monitoring of all mechanical-related works at the site as per approved drawings and methods and safety rules.
• Manage directly and provide engineering and technical support to all the Mechanical work groups at the site.
• Ensures that all site works are done according to all applicable quality standards.
• Collaborate with cost control and planning department in preparing the daily progress reports
• Managing the project workflow and budget.
• Prepare spool and support list and welding map.
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specification.
• Responsible for material and controlling it in the warehouse and site.
