As a filmmaker, my deep-rooted and enduring love for cinema has driven my journey since a very young age. This passion enables me to understand and connect deeply with the medium, appreciating a wide variety of films and engaging in meaningful discussions about existing and potential projects with fellow filmmakers. Sharing my studies and current work brings me joy, especially when I see the genuine interest in people's eyes. This field allows me to channel my emotions, fostering self-love through the creative process.
I am a recent graduate of the American University in Cairo, holding bachelor's degrees in Film and Political Science, with minors in Creative Writing and Sociology. I have written and directed several short fiction and non-fiction films and was a member of the short film viewing committee at the forty-fourth Cairo International Film Festival (2022). My experience includes participating in numerous film-related workshops, and I am currently serving as a film programmer and content creator for MedFest Egypt. In addition, I have worked as an assistant director and director's producer on several short films.

From a very young age, I have been an avid reader, immersing myself in both fiction and non-fiction. My love for storytelling and exploring diverse narratives has fueled my passion for literature. Fiction allows me to dive into imaginative worlds, gaining new perspectives and understanding the human condition, while non-fiction enriches my knowledge and broadens my understanding of various subjects. This dual interest has shaped my critical thinking, creativity, and writing skills, profoundly influencing my academic and professional journey.
