• Plan, develop and implement new and revised compensation programs, policies and procedures to align with the company's goals and competitive practices.
• Ensure that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
• Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.
• Provide advice on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
• Oversee the participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.
• Design creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
• Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
• Investigate payroll variances and employee claims to resolve discrepancies and balance financial records.
• Ensure compliance with governmental compensation and payroll laws and regulations and best practices.
• Reconcile health care benefits, tax contributions and retirement accounts.
• Submit reports on compensation and payroll activities.
• Manage team training, performance management and evaluation.
