  • Monitor/optimize wells’ Performance, Wells Management, Rig/Rig-less Operations, Gas lift Design & Optimization
  • Work with multidisciplinary team (Well surveillance, Field Development, Planning & Operations) to optimize, enhance the performance of wells and mitigate the production bottlenecks.
  • Coordinates with Reservoir Engineering team for short / long term Field Surveillance plan.
  • Organize activities, prepare equipment and manpower to accomplish data acquisition requirements for reservoir and production surveillance.
  • Develop comprehensive logistics plan to facilitate surveillance and effective well intervention operations, encompassing slick line, E-line, Coiled Tubing, chemical treatment and testing, across all company divisions. Ensure seamless execution and closely monitor performance to optimize results.
  • Actively engage in operational inspections and offer professional expertise to diverse processes in executing specialized operations in field, such as well interventions, production logging, well testing, and concurrent production/drilling/construction operations for onshore and offshore wells. Additionally, ensure offshore maintenance is coordinated with other departments and contractors.
  • Review -with team members - open-hole / cased-hole logs and put action plan based on analysis.
    Recommend remedial well work solutions to restore or improve productivity/infectivity in shut-in, troubled, or underperforming wells.
  • Follow up with site witnesses execution of all intervention work giving them the required recommendations to insure the safety & success of operation.
  • Maintain regular communication with Operations and Contractor staff during well work activities to ensure safe and efficient implementation.
  • Monitor well's performance on daily basis, diagnose associated issues and evaluate optimization opportunities.
    Production & injection losses tracking/ evaluation by (test separators & MFFM)
  • Utilize choke model software to prevent and eliminate daily, weekly, and monthly losses of oil production, water, and gas injection across the field by recording them alongside their root and immediate causes.
  • Review daily drilling report; discuss well-encountered problems with drilling team.
  • Make sure maintaining well integrity and achieving reservoir targets and avoid formation damage.
  • Prepares daily feedback and prepares weekly Operations Reports.

  • Ensure compliance with GUPCO offshore’s ‘Well Integrity Policy’ by defining team’s business goals, objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Communicate with different field crews to develop day to day required WI testing and monitoring plans

  • Manage the well integrity database entry for XT, DHSV, greasing survey and other well integrity activities to ensure that the data are up to date and to highlight any overdue tests
