Manage, co-ordinate and monitor the development of the design with particular reference to the objectives and requirements of the Employer and relevant codes of practice and the requirements and approvals of the relevant authorities and other statutory bodies.

• Monitor the performance of the Design consultant (both International and Local Consultants) and other consultants in respect of the deliverables associated with the agreed Design Program and provide immediate advice to the Employer in the event their progress may affect the Project overall completion date or milestone objectives together With recommended remedial action.

• Incorporate into the Design Program reasonable periods for Employer approvals, Municipality Permits, No Objection Certificates, and other statutory approvals

• Manage and co-ordinate the activities of the Design Team by means of regular co-ordination meetings facilitating it in the production of relevant design Information In a timely manner so that the procurement and construction program can be maintained.

• Prepare/ review Request for Proposals (RFP’s), Scope of Services and Time

Schedules.

• Manage Design Process Stages, keeping track of all documentations and logs updates.

• Approve Tender Documentation Stages (Cost Estimates, Specifications, and

Design Criteria’s).
