- Responsible for maintenance of all machinery and industrial gas systems.
- Responsible for loading, maintenance and repair of cargo reefer containers.
- Attend, monitor and ensure that the maintenance and repair works carried out by subcontractors, workshops, ship yards and technicians are executed in safe and efficient manner.
- Carry out user based maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical parts of the navigational and communication equipment.
- Identify, rectify and report potential hazards associated with the electrical machinery, equipment and system operation.
- Responsible for all IT related issues onboard including carry out regular health check, upgrade, monitor and repair of all IT equipment’s.
- Ensure that all the relevant HSSEQ procedures are observed within my areas of responsibility.
- Conducting risk assessments, Identify and classify hazards, define risk control measures for any electrical related jobs.
- Training of junior and assistant electrical engineers.
