· Start using Baling Machines for densifying the light scrap. The idea that saved more than $80/ton.
· Participating on increasing the capacity of truck scales from 130 ton to 140 & 150 tons without any additional cost.
· Participating on autonomating the process of scrap segregation to be semi-automated instead of manual process.
· Participated on using pre-shredder machines for processing of closed and semi-closed vessels.
· Participated in many lean projects where one of them was reducing the changeover time at Rod Mill Plant in May 2016 from 90 minutes to 64 minutes, increasing the plant availability by 1%, which affects the revenue to be increased by 4.2 million L.E/Year.
· Won the prize for the highest number of proposals in EZDK for year 2014 and 2015 respectively.
· Won the prize for the EZDK best proposal in 2015.
· Traveled to Japan (Fukoka, Nagoya, and Tokyo) in a lean training program and tour for (Toyota, Nissan, Omron, Toto, Lexus, and other plants) during May 2015.
