  • Prepare Arabic and English reports about the Egyptian economy issued by international institutions (e.g.). WB, IMF, IIF, and credit rating agencies, and reports about international economic events (the Malaysian experience in attracting FDI and import substitution, the impact of illicit capital outflow on Africa, and the Turkish crisis, etc.).
  • Participate in the quarterly economic magazine and the annual report issued by the economic research sector in the CBE.
  • Conduct rigorous economic research and analysis that informs the central bank’s monetary policy, financial stability strategies, and regulatory decisions. The role supports the development of economic models, produces forecasts, and contributes to publications and policy papers.
    Key Responsibilities: Macroeconomic Analysis: Analyze domestic and global economic trends, including inflation, GDP, employment, interest rates, and exchange rates.

    Policy Research: Conduct empirical and theoretical research to evaluate the impact of monetary policy, fiscal policy, and regulatory frameworks.
    Policy Support: Provide briefings and written reports for senior policymakers, including central bank governors, and monetary policy committees.

    Publications: Author or contribute to research papers, working papers, reports, and articles in academic or institutional publications.
