My name is Mai Salem, I am a biology/science teacher with more than 12 years of teaching experience. I lived in the United Kingdom for 6 years where I got the chance to work and train in the University of Hull and primary schools in the area where I lived. I started my teaching career in 2011 when I arrived to Egypt. I demonstrate strong subject matter proficiency, clear understanding of teaching methodology, and a thoughtful understanding of students learning processes. I constantly amend my teaching methods to apply the skills and knowledge gained from my studies. I am considered a highly professional employee, dedicated and passionate teacher. I work as a project manager at the Environmental protection and education association (EPEA) helping to spread environmental education to Egyptian students in both governmental and private schools through workshops and field trips. Participated in Marine Spatial Planning MSP workshops organized by UNISCO in Riga- Latvia 2019. Participated in the 5th Indian Ocean coral reef symposium in Cebu- Philippine 2018. I am fluent in English and Arabic is my mother tongue.
