Accomplishments

  • 07/2002, Design Centre Business Design Centre, Islington London. A two-week exhibition of a collection of contemporary furniture pieces incorporating laminated plywood and oak veneers. This was part of a final year degree coursework. This gave me an opportunity to promote my collection and network with other designers and business contacts.
  • 06/2002, Degree Show Middlesex University Cat Hill: A two-week preview exhibition event, showing the collection in preparation for the Business Design Centre. I was interviewed by the press and my furniture piece appeared in the Evening Standard in London 2002 'UK Design is Rocking'.
  • 01/2001, Domicile Moda, Wallpaper Museum Cockfosters. A four day exhibition where I exhibited two incense sticks and candle holders, designed and manufactured in Oak wood, inspired by my regular visits to Egypt.
