Aim & measure of the change: Applying Caprini Score for detection and management of VTE risky patients
Conclusions/Actions : VTE is a highly challenging scenario in ICU patients specially most of them are bedridden with other comorbidities. After applying of Caprini score in identifying the risk and applying the appropriate measures according to the risk score,the percentage of VTE in ICU patients/month was markedly decreased.
