- Direct and participate in planning and coordination of overhaul maintenance activities.
- Initiate plant and equipment modifications and approve (as Asset Owner) the new proposed modifications presented by Sonker involved parties to improve efficiency where necessary.
- Ensure that the operations team has leadership to set the engagement and teamwork environment for all employees within the department.
- Control the development and implementation of detailed operational aspects in the short and long term to ensure the maximum availability of the plant.
- Monitor and exercise control over the operational budget programs at the operations department.
