• Deal with consultant companies (SYSTRA,EGIS,HILL) to put NAT technical specifications for automatic fare collection system for new projects
• Deal with international companies (THALES , INDRA ,SIEMENS,SICE) to put preliminary design and detailed design documents for all automatic fare collection system equipment
• Attend prototype and factory acceptance tests at contractors premises( Thales,Paris-Indra,Madrid-Thales,Italy)
• Design and Development: Design and develop AFC systems, including hardware and software components, to ensure seamless fare collection and processing

- Developing system architecture and design documents - Creating detailed design specifications for hardware and software components

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration

- Integrate AFC systems with existing infrastructure, such as ticketing machines, gates, and back-office systems

- Conducting site surveys to determine system requirements

- Developing interface specifications for integration with existing systems

- Collaborating with vendors and stakeholders to ensure successful integration

• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure AFC systems meet functional and performance requirements

- Developing test plans and test cases

- Conducting unit testing, integration testing, and system testing

- Collaborating with quality assurance teams to identify and resolve defects

• Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support to ensure AFC systems operate reliably and efficiently

- Developing maintenance schedules and procedures - Conducting routine maintenance and repairs - Collaborating with customer support teams to resolve user issues

- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues and resolve technical problems related to AFC systems

- Analyzing system logs and error messages

- Conducting on-site troubleshooting and repair

- Collaborating with vendors and stakeholders to resolve complex issues

• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, and IT, to ensure AFC systems meet business requirements

- Attending project meetings and status updates

- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide feedback

- Developing and delivering technical presentations and reports

• Compliance: Ensure AFC systems comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and laws

- Researching and analyzing industry standards and regulations

- Collaborating with compliance teams to ensure system adherence

- Developing and implementing compliance procedures and protocols

• Technical Responsibilities: Hardware Development: Develop and test hardware components, such as ticketing machines, gates, and validators

-Designing and developing hardware prototypes - Conducting hardware testing and validation - Collaborating with manufacturers to ensure production readiness

• Software Development: Design, develop, and test software applications for AFC systems, including fare calculation, payment processing, and data analytics

- Developing software prototypes and proof-of-concepts

- Conducting software testing and validation

- Collaborating with quality assurance teams to identify and resolve defects

• Database Management: Design, implement, and manage databases to store and process fare collection data

- Developing database schema and data models

- Implementing database security and access controls

- Collaborating with data analytics teams to develop reports and dashboards

• Network Configuration: Configure and manage network infrastructure to support AFC systems

- Designing and implementing network architecture

- Configuring network devices and protocols

- Collaborating with network operations teams to ensure system uptime

• Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect AFC systems from unauthorized access and data breaches

- Conducting security risk assessments and vulnerability testing

- Implementing security protocols and access controls

- Collaborating with security teams to respond to security incidents.
