· Ability to understand and implement mechanical drawings, section drawing, construction drawing, alignment specification, and assembly drawings for all plant equipment.
· Strong experience in piping systems fabrication and construction, cutting plan, material control, welding maps, piping supports, steel structure and pressure vessels fabrication.
· Complete and verifying quality documentation per inspection and test plans.
· Assist Area Field Engineer with additional field engineering activities as assigned.
· Work closely with other discipline field engineers and coordinate efforts and activities to meet the project requirements.
· Execute and study RFQ, BOQ, MTO, RFI, PO, IR.
· Proven abilities with equipment manuals, Specifications, ASME, ASTM, API, AWS, PFI, ASNT codes.
· Initiate Non-conformance reports to formally document equipment that is damage or not in accordance with project specifications. Resolve technical issues and provide technical direction to superintendents and craft to implement remedial action.
· Execute field material takeoffs, providing input to tracking and reporting on weekly preservation activities to Project Management, and monitoring work performance compared to project budget and schedule.
· Act as point of contact for coordination and resolution of technical issues related to provision of subcontracted technical services.
· Prepare field material requisitions for equipment and consumables associated with preservation activities and monitor status of purchase orders and deliveries.
· Review applicable supplier manuals, standard procedures and applicable codes to establish storage requirements and mechanical requirements and frequencies for all permanent plant equipment that will be received and installed.
