  • Accounts Follow-up entails the following: Assessing facility utilization against the approved facility purpose, Reviewing clients’ proceeds’ inflows, account revolving ratios, etc., are matching with the approval conditions

  • Conduct consistent visits to the allocated Group branches, using the predefined Permanent Control Program to: Verify efficiency of internal control rules, including segregation of duties, dual control… etc., Ensure proper safeguarding of branch’s assets and valuable items, Check accuracy of transactions and activities, including the necessary authorization/approvals, Discuss the finding results with the concerned staff to identify the causes and related corrective actions,

  • Update ICE tool controls on a monthly basis with the observations and statistics showing progress, cause & impact, and the corrective actions for collected observations,
  • Prepare a collective evaluation report indicating all significant deficiencies as well as any problems faced by the Controller during his assignment and communicate report to concerned Group Head & Branch Managers,
  • Participate in conducting investigations requested by Internal Audit Department in case of any occurring issue that may affect the control environment and increase the involved risks at the branches (e.g.: cashshort/over, internal/external fraud cases),
  • Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of the Permanent Supervision, Compliance and Money Laundering, Operational Risk, and Workplace Success Guidelines whenever and wherever possible,
  • Ensure the correct adoption of policies and procedures in order to guarantee that the bank business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal Rules and Regulations, as well as, International Standards,
  • Monitor different areas that include operational, HR, logistical, and accounting control issues,
  • Investigate the group’s HR issues in coordination with the HR Department.
