- As a Civil Engineer, I understand the critical importance of precise leveling and alignment in any construction project
- To ensure the structural integrity of the project, I focused on the structural design, employing advanced surveying tools such as leveling instruments and total stations to verify excavation levels before commencing concrete foundation work
- I meticulously checked all measurements against design specifications to prevent future misalignments or structural issues
- Incorporating the client's requirements, I ensured the design included steel extensions for manufacturing units, storage buildings, and a spray tower with four levels at varying heights: 6 meters, 12 meters, 18 meters, and 24 meters
- During construction, I encountered misalignments in steel plates and bolts securing connections to columns, which could have compromised the building's stability
- Drawing on my engineering expertise, I conducted a thorough inspection using leveling instruments to identify gaps and alignment issues
- I carefully loosened the bolts and repositioned the steel plates to ensure proper contact with the column surface
- Finally, I retightened the bolts to the specified torque using a calibrated torque wrench to guarantee the structural integrity of the connection
- Throughout the project, I closely monitored and analyzed progress by collecting data on weekly operations and evaluating subcontractor performance
- I meticulously tracked the overall work completion percentage, ensuring it aligned with the project timeline
- To maintain steady progress, I identified critical tasks, such as pipe rack concrete works, G Block extensions, and parking area installations, and prioritized activities accordingly
- I consistently ensured all subcontractors adhered to the schedule, contributing significantly to the project's overall success
