  • 08/2004 to 02/2005 Responsible Engineer (RE) for the 624MW (ISO) GT Project to coordinate the engineering design review process among the engineering disciplines as well as leading the mechanical team for design review. The process has been improved and expedited to finalize the approval cycle to 11 days in lieu 18 days in average.
  • 02/2005 to 01/2007 Site Construction Manager of 624 MW (ISO) GT project (4x156MW Siemens V94.2). Managing the day-to-day site activities, lead the site committee to enable the main contractor (BHEL) and sub-contractors to execute the project properly incompliance to the contract requirements and approved documents. Establish a quality management system to monitor and control the site activities including inspections and tests of construction, commissioning and startup, and performance guarantee tests in accordance to the approved quality plans. Develop the Field change approval system and Monitor the time schedules. Monitor the HSE, review and approve the monthly work progress bills, coordinate the weekly site meetings and expediting the material supply with the main contractor and subcontractors as well as the gas fuel supply company (Eni Gas).
  • Conduct training sessions to the Owner site committee in team building and project management to create a positive workplace environment and improve workforce performance, report periodically to ACESCo project manager. As accomplishment; the project closure report prepared and the project successfully turned over to the Owner.
  • 03/2007- 08/2007 Site Manager of the running Abutraba desalination project of 40,000 m³/day. Issuing the status report, assuring the executed work as per scope and approved quality plan, creating the punch items list, prepare the closure report and handing over the project to the Owner satisfactorily. The main Contractor was Sidem.
  • 08/2007 – 11/2009 Site Manager of two nearby Desalination projects 80 km distance in-between of 40,000 m³/day for each. Coordinate the two sites staff to manage the day-to-day activities to enable the main contractor (Sidem-ENKA) to execute the project properly incompliance to the contract requirements and approved documents. Establish a quality management system to monitor and control the two sites’ activities including inspections and tests of construction, commissioning and startup in accordance to the approved quality plans. Develop the field change approval system and Monitor the time schedules. Monitor the HSE, review and approve the monthly work progress bills, coordinate the weekly site meetings with the main contractor and report periodically to ACESCo project manager. The project closure report prepared and the project turned over to the Owner.
