Leading a team of 120 talents (Product,Project Managers,Delivery managers ,Full Stack engineers, DevOps,SysOps,User Support,Business Intelligence,.. ) based on Cairo part of DSIS global organization (Digital Solutions & Information Systems) in Valeo.

Team mission is to deliver multiple software cloud based solutions and services to Valeo R&D teams including ALM solution,Continuous integration service, custom web applications, integration tools and dashboarding solutions.

All solutions are maintained from Build to run.

• Growth management: Hiring core team of SW COE in Cairo ( ~ 100 candidate in 1.5 Years )
• Process & Methodology: Crafting processes to well manage the team increased volume and diversity of competencies

Holding the position of Excellence Manager for the software Center of Excellence, I'm responsible for :

- Roadmaps and visioning of the different solutions
- Budget and financial follow up
- PMO processes
- Licenses Management

Key Achievements:

• Budget Management: Managing COE budget (~25 M€), Working with finance team and domain managers to ensure efficient budget budget tracking
• License management: Centralize some SW licenses across Valeo group which allows a more efficient usage and reducing license cost by rationalizing usage
• Migration from Scrum methodology to SAFe to allow better handling of cross domain dependencies

Leading a team delivering standard continuous integration service to Valeo R&D teams worldwide based on Hybrid architectures (On-Premis & AWS ).

• Standardize the CI/CD method for more than 300 Software projects
• Managing the functional roadmap of the standard CI service
• Oversee the onboarding plan across all Valeo R&D sites
• Improving the solution performance and reliability by applying Hybrid architecture to enable cloud migration
• Reporting the program progress and risks to management and infernal customers in steering committees

• In charge of managing digital improvement programs for system and software areas across the different Valeo business units
• Leading a team of 20+ engineers responsible for delivering a complete toolchain for software development.

• Leading development and testing teams delivering application lifecycle management tools.

• Software developer for various applications based on .NET C#, Matlab Simulink, and DOORS DXL scripting
• Worked on projects such as automatic code generation, Simulink standalone viewer-editor, DOORS plugin development, and embedded software validation.
