Summary of Key Responsibilities:
1- Supervise, develop, and implement the project-level safety management program.
2- Aids project and construction management in implementing and complying with project safety requirements and in addressing safety/health issues as they arise during Project execution.
3- Coordinates with and provides technical assistance to other project-assigned functional leads (e.g., engineering, subcontracts, procurement, project controls) with regards to compliance with project-specific safety/health requirements.
4- Participates in meetings with customers, project team members, and contractors to advise them of ES &H requirements that may affect project design, schedule, and cost.
5- Provides technical support and assistance directly to construction supervision and contractors in planning and executing field activities in accordance with the project safety requirements.
6- Review Contractors ES&H plan, safety and health specific plans, project specific mitigation plans, safety and health awareness training programs, and technical and regulatory reports.
7- Conducts safety assessments/inspections of project construction activities to monitor Compliance with safety/health requirements including contractual commitments, laws and regulations, and the project's ES&H plan.
8- Implements personnel policies (e.g., conducts employee performance evaluations) and provides technical direction to staff.
9- Develop an Emergency Action Plan for site personnel.
10- Be a role model for “Zero Incident" safety philosophy for all project employees.
11- Conduct orientations for all personnel upon their arrival to site.
12- Conduct extensive safety monitoring for contractor activities on site.
13- Coordinate with Contractor(s) safety personnel to develop a project wide Emergency Action Plan.
14- Conduct Weekly & daily Site safety Walkdowns and Project Safety Meetings. Maintain and distribute minutes for these meetings.
15. Prepare material requisitions for all personnel safety Personal Protective Equipment. (PPE) as well as maintaining an adequately stocked first aid kit.
16- Track man-hours and safety statistics for all contractors onsite.
17- Prepare daily safety monitoring reports.
18- Directs the development and implementation of a training program to ensure subordinate personnel receive progressive training to enable them to assume additional responsibilities.

20- Improve labors safety behavior by transfer safety knowledge & monitoring instructions implementation considering project schedule, work safe Manar & available recourses.
