In addition to a lot of existing and running projects a lot of challenges due to Merg between KPC and QPC because of urgent need to unify and integrate a lot of different Telecom systems in addition to rebuild the existing teams and develop them to be one homogenous team to corporate with another teams, moreover the company organization has great changes which creates a lot of conflicts among most of employers.

• Middle East, it was the most cost-effective solution and long-life cycle system as it combines both of analog and IP cameras, as the system was advanced and not available in Egypt and the system was urgently required, so a condition in tender has been added to install until receiving the requested system, also the system has been included VMS not only HNVR and workstation
• CCTV System in QPC Head Quarter, in Egypt (2013-2014) Phase-2:
• Extend the hybrid CCTV system to cover another 2 buildings in Cairo Office, which was very useful to monitor all buildings, entrances, surroundings, fences, in addition to important areas like Bank, Clinics ,……, also CCTV system became very useful tool in emergency cases and emergency drills
• Dedicated and shared Satellite systems (2002-2016) in QPC:
• Dedicated and shared satellite station to be used for emergency cases in the main sites (emergency voice and fax messages using high compression techniques) in addition to Drilling rigs in the areas where there is no microwave coverage

• The Challenge in this project is that working only out of working ours in addition to strict safety rules as there wasn’t cabling paths and all vertical paths using EMT pipes out of the buildings, in addition down time while transition from the old to the new system

• This project has been initiated to monitor and control all security gates in all QPC sites in western desert, Fayioom and Beni Suef for Security and safety purposes as many of these gates is spread in desert areas, so earthing and grounding in addition to backup power systems
• CCTV system for Health & safety purposes (2021-2022):
• This system has been initiated to cover all mess halls and kitchens in all company camps to monitor and control all activities for health and safety purposes

• This project covers at all main conference rooms as it was badly needed starting from COVID19 pandemic and till now as it is mandatory to save time and cost in addition to taking decision quickly, on the other hand all General assembly meetings between board members and Minister of Petroleum and Mineral

• Success Story: Fiber Link between 2 QPC sites in Western Desert (2021-2022):
• Connect between 2 main sites in the Western Desert using fiber link, there was a great challenge in this project, I got information that a project for MV cable between the 2 sites will be carried out within 4 weeks, so the time was very critical and tight
• I saw that it is a great business opportunity, but it has many challenges as following:t: I worked all the time, day, and night to study and confirm that there is no technical risk to extend the fiber cable in the same conduit.d it takes great effort to persuade my managers that it is a great business opportunity.d I need to motivate my team to proceed in this difficult project.h if we proceed with foreign purchasing the project will be cancelled, on the other hand fiber cables availability was very hard due to current national projects, finally I succeed to agree with one of high-quality factory to book 44Km on my responsibility.h there was great conflict with the main project schedule
• After a lot of negotiations, I succeeded in persuading the main contractor to accept the fiber link fiber project.h the project budget was very small, I succeeded in being aligned with the very small budget only through a lot of negotiations
• New& Upgrade Vodafone and Orange networks in the main 5 sites (2019-2024):
• The key factor for this success is the successful negotiation based on win-win situation rule between QPC and Both of Vodafone and Orange as the challenge that no
• Of customers is small, and ROI is very slow
• Projects in progress: Page 9 of 9 Strategic Link to Connect between KPC and QPC Network:
• Based on a lot of Engineering study there was great business opportunity as QPC broadband network which has access to Telecom Egypt Fiber Network in 3 locations, the 1st connection in Cairo and the 2 remaining connections in western desert, one of them is about 120Km way from KPC network, in the middle point there was new promising concession, so it will be considered as drop repeater, on the other hand new height telecom tower will be established and will be used for PMP system, VHF in addition to GSM networks
• Establishment 5 Telecom Towers:
• The above-mentioned towers will be used for PTP, PMP, VHF in addition to GSM operators to cover new concessions including production and exploration activities
• CCTV projects in 3 main sites in western desert:
• The above-mentioned projects have been initiated due to business need for safety and security purposes in addition to emergency cases, in this project all security gates in the desert will be monitored and controlled to help Security and HSE department to insure vehicle and trucks movement according to HSE and security regulations
