• Successfully manager to restructure organization engineering and projects divisions to efficiently fully utilize the available talents and reduce the number of personnel in order to achieve the most efficient performance with less cost.
• Initiating a new system to review and update all existing engineering/projects manuals and procedural instruction to conform to the latest industry standards and requirements with intensive inhouse fast track training program to get the team familiar with changes and use of the new system.

This was also done in conjunction with the league department to provide an on shelf contract agreement suitable to all projects and supplies leading to significantly more efficient procurement, expediting and contracting process.
• Implementing the risk management technique for mega projects in order to predict the major risks and assist in efficient planning.
• Provide the department business plan on yearly bases including the department expenditure and anticipated projects for CEO approval.
• Leading the TAR planing and shutdowns schedule optimization and major activity detailed planing to achieve safety and cost effective solutions.

• Provide innovative solutions to support critical maintenance actively like online repairs for flange leeks and additional support for cracks generated by hammering in PVC piping system.
• Using Maximo software as data base for rotating equipment modes of failure to apply a reliability based life prediction and failure expectation.
• Introduce, for the first time in Egypt, the ground penetration radar as a major safety enhancement for excavation activity inside the plant which has eliminated excavation incidents and plant interruptions.
• Introduce the Bentley Nevada condition monitoring system to rotating equipment cognition monitoring leading to significant improvement in failure modes predicting and increased vibration diagnostic.
• Participate in the implemination of the reliability based inspection programe.
• Known as a distinctive incident investigation leader applying the fish bone and Yokogawa technics.

• Provision of fabrication engineering and construction supervision for offshore mega structures and subsea structures including but not limited to construction supervision , fabrication sequence , preassembly , assembly, sand blasting and painting procedures, WPS, WPQR, yard transport (cranes or SPT), rollup operation (Mega cranes or Strand Jacks), loadout (Skidding or SPT) rigging design and procurement/maintenance/preservation plans, major vessels upgrades.
• Fabrication consumables plan , arrangement for tool box talks, man power plan issuance, fabrication equipment maintenance plans, fuel and lubricant usage plans.
• Project management support for procurement and expediting for all project items, cost control and progress reporting, Technical Mgr.

• For structural and piping department, my responsibility was provision of technical and managerial support for all running projects and trouble shoot any problems associated with technical or commercial issues.
• Including offshore fixed jackets, green field projects brwon fields projects, piping plot plans, stress analysis, materials, pipelines.
• Mainly participated in all enhanced oil recovery project including gas injection, water injection including P&IDs review and comments, equipment layout, piping GA and isometrics and participating in HAZOPs.

• I was responsible for assisting the Engineering mgr in technical issues related to subsea structures control system, flexible riser design and leading a team of engineers, lead engineers, and draughtsman in selection of vertical connectors (VC), flying leads, jumpers design and efficiency of dampers use.
• Review of Christmas trees data sheets to project specs.
• In addition to managing and control the engineering subcontracts and liaison with client, other disciplines, project management and other McDermott disciplines.

• Chevron Thailand Exploration and production site Representative on construction vessels) I was responsible for all installation engineering aspects for pipelines, platform, ROV, air diving, sat diving and subsea structures for major clients in south east Asia.
• This includes also vessel technical evaluation for installation campaign charter.
• In addition to all fabrication yard construction engineering requirements including SPMT loadout \, Strand Jacks loadout and rollup operations, ballasting and deballasting during loadout operation, mega lift engineering.
