• Drive a market survey to obtain a cost estimate to act within the budget
• Initiate and drive the call for tender within the company & participate as a technical member in the sub-bid committee.
• Prepare and act as a focal point for all invitation to tender discussions including, scope of work, proposed contract terms and conditions, deliverables, vendor list and other contract sections.
• Review & evaluate vendors pre-qualifications, technical & commercial offers & arrange site visits for bidders and accompanies bidders on such visits
• Engage in technical clarifications & negotiate penalties, terms & conditions to the best of the company
•Recommend the tender winner to the bid committee based on technical & commercial evaluation.
• Prepare letter of Intent / award and agreements, obtain successful contractor’s acceptance of award and signature of contract.
• Draft the contract with the vendor & solve any contract- related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself.
• Follows up the submission of performance bank guarantee, verifies and recommends acceptance of the same.
• Communicate with internal disciplines and negotiate to contractor/service providers for any contract matters
