- Prepare the inspection schedule plan to perform the NDT for in service inspection of static equipment according to manufacturer inspection recommendation and to inspection code API
- Prepare for each stationary equipment such as (vessels, tanks, product Storage spheres, towers, heat exchangers, Etc) NDT inspection procedures according to API and plant specification
- Prepare assigned job hazard analysis (JHA) and risk assessment (RA) for inspection jobs according to OHSAS-18001 and ISO-14001 standard
- Perform, review and Follow up the inspection procedure and inspection method of statement for equipment during normal operation and plant shutdowns in view of international technical standards and specifications through the approved inspection plan
- Apply inspection records based on collected data and measure/calculate corrosion rate, remaining life and inspection intervals according to API-570/510/653
- Issue Inspection reports contain equipment’s performance records and operation remaining life also corrosion condition monitoring report, and update inspection plan according to inspection results
- Investigate materials deterioration in view of material failure analysis & find the remedy through process wise and corrosion monitoring manner if required
- Prepare periodical aging report according to inspection results and equipment rank list related to risk assessment (affected failure mechanism and its consequences)
- Prepare and issue calibration strategy and plan for compressed gas cylinders, cranes, webbing/wire rope slings, hooks, shackles, chain blocks..
- Etc according to NFPA, DOT-3A/3E, BS and ASME-B30
- Prepare technical calibration specification for contract with Comibassal to apply calibration plan annually, follow up/witness the calibration activities and review issued calibration certificates
- Organize and Contact with maintenance divisions to Apply calibration plan without effect on maintenance work progress inside plant, manage rejected and accepted items to meet HSE requirements of the plant
- Issue periodical reports for calibration plan progress to plant manager, perform internal self inspection audit to meet and insure the used items are accepted
- Apply inspection and calibration data and its results based on CMMS application software program (Maximo) to integrate with other activities
- Provides a workshop inspection service for overhaul, pipe works and steel structural works, fabrication etc., by reviewing PQR & WPS and QA/QC plan for fabrication and repair works
- Ability to advise/recommend required repairs or replacements to defected parts/equipment and follow up/supervise further inspection after repair work to ensure conformity to approved standard and codes
- Carries out other related duties, such as new technical methods of inspection, especially in the field non-destructive testing, carrying out inspection and certification of all forms of lifting tackle and lifting machines, Set up and co-ordinates with Plant for implementing and maintaining HSE regulations
