  • Lead the formulation of the company's vision, mission, medium and long-term strategy and business plan, in coordination with the Management Committee and BoD and ensure that they are communicated to department heads.
  • Review financial and non-financial performance of the company's divisions, departments and projects, compare results to established objectives and ensure appropriate measures are taken to correct any deviations or key issues/risks.
  • Provide quarterly executive-level reporting to the BoD on the overall operations and performance of the company's divisions, departments and projects, and highlight any issues for consideration.
  • Identify potential tendering and partnership opportunities that are in line with the company's strategy, and manage the relationship with existing and potential clients/partners and key suppliers/subcontractors.

  • Ensure that the PMV and Warehouse department provide the required support to project teams to successfully complete projects.
  • Oversee the development of a forecast financial model, which will inform the strategic planning process, and provide a dashboard that compares actual financial performance versus forecast to the Management Committee and BoD.
  • Manage the development of annual operating plans for departments within the Finance and Support Services Division, and ensure their alignment with the company's business plan.
  • Review tender invitations and their respective proposed budgets and plans to ensure that funds are available to deliver potential projects profitably.
  • Oversee the preparation of the annual capital, operating and manpower budgets for all the company's departments, and compile a master budget for BoD approval.
  • coordinate with the finance the treasury function to ensure that optimal levels of liquidity are available to fund projects and department plans, and coordinate with lenders to obtain finances as required.
  • Ensure that HR practices, policies and procedures aim to create a culture that is conducive to attracting, developing, rewarding and retaining top performers.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of a plan for maintaining stable and reliable IT systems and infrastructure.
