Process Design & Optimization:

- Design and improve assembly processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.

- Develop strategies to reduce downtime and bottlenecks in production.

- Analyze data from production lines to identify areas for improvement.

Equipment and Tooling Management:

- Specify, source, and ensure the proper setup of machinery and tools used in the assembly process.

- Monitor the performance of equipment, and recommend improvements or upgrades.

- Ensure tooling and machinery comply with quality standards and regulations.

Quality Control & Assurance:

- Work closely with quality control teams to monitor and improve product quality.

- Develop testing and inspection protocols for both individual components and the final vehicle.

- Analyze production data to identify defects, and implement corrective actions.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance:

- Troubleshoot technical issues on the assembly line, both for machinery and processes.

- Work with maintenance teams to ensure all equipment is running efficiently and is properly maintained.

Collaboration and coordination:

- Collaborate with production management to ensure the smooth flow of operations.

- Coordinate with the warehouse and other departments to ensure that parts and materials are available as needed.

Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement:

- Implement lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) to reduce waste and improve workflow.

- Use techniques such as Six Sigma to reduce variability and improve product quality.

- Continuously review and enhance processes for greater efficiency and cost savings.

Safety & Compliance:

- Ensure that the assembly line complies with safety regulations and industry standards.

- Develop and enforce safety protocols to protect workers, and the environment.

- Monitor ergonomics, and ensure safe working conditions for assembly line operators.

Documentation & Reporting:

- Maintain detailed records of assembly line operations, process changes, and improvements.

- Prepare reports on production performance, quality control, and equipment status.

- Ensure all processes are well-documented for traceability and compliance with industry standards.
