- During construction and commissioning phase: supervision of all mechanical activates such as ; piping construction, hydraulic and pneumatic tests, water flushing, air blowing and reinstatement for piping packages
- Also, touch up, thermal insulation and walk through final inspections on piping subsystems to carry out mechanical completions
- Supervision of static equipment installation and boxing up
- Supervision of rotating equipment alignment, motor solo run, oil flushing
- Installation of dry gas seal capsules of multi stage centrifugal compressors
- Preparing maintenance plan of mechanical equipment at ammonia plant according to each equipment manual.
- During normal operation: Supervise the execution of preventive maintenance plans and maintenance of rotating equipment such as; single and multistage centrifugal pumps checking and replacing if necessary bearing, mechanical seal, coupling….etc
- Ensure availability of spare parts, coordinate and follow up new material orders
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with other departments to optimize the utilization of section man power to plan minor and major shutdown activities
- Responsible for steam turbine start up and monitoring from field and CCR (DCS).
- Technical Experience: Took place in disassembling 16 stages high pressure steam turbine to replace the turbine rotor under the supervision of (MAN energy solutions)
- Complete overhaul of 5 stages magnetic drive seal less pump provided by (KLAUS UNION)
- Minor overhaul of steam turbine inspecting rotor bearing, trip valve, governor and generator gear box.(GE)
- Commissioning for impulse steam turbine of BFW pump with inspection of gear box and shaft clearances (SIEMENSE ENERGY)
- Took place in a full disassembly of an electrical generator to inspect the generator's rotor and stator condition the job was supervised by (WEG).
