RESPONSIBILITIES – along with previous position responsibilities :-

• Provide support to and coordinate with Project Manager on all mechanical issues in the course of projects including HVAC, plumbing and firefighting.
• Evaluate and recommend feasible construction methodology as per site conditions and as per contract requirements.
• Working as lead site mechanical engineer and coordinating with all disciplines for the successful completion of the project, leading a group of mechanical engineers to manage, plan, and resolve contractors' conflicts and engineering issues.
• Review shop drawings, materials submittal, and method statements to ensure the smooth running of the project .
• Plan and follow up the construction activities according to the project schedule. Monitor and follow-up the rate of progress of the work and make recommendations in case of deviation from the plans.
• Performed field walk-downs of proposed installation sites, inspecting facilities for potential issues.
• Ensures all works carried comply with the mechanical drawings and project specifications as stipulated.
• Manage the quality control processes and maintains job records, text reports and similar documentation.
• To make certain that all architectural drawings are in line and coordinated with other departmental design drawings prior proceeding with structural work and to highlight any discrepancies for necessary correction.
• Conduct site inspections to ascertain standards of safety and structural quality are being met.
• Testing and commissioning of mechanical systems and their interface with the building management system ( BMS ) . Review and check the cause and effect matrix .
