Roles And Responsibilities

  • Lab manager and certified LIMS(labware) admin 1, Amiral, Royal International Inspection Laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025:2017, accredited lab by DAkkS), Pesticide residue section, El Sokhna port, Suez, Egypt. Besides contribution in routine work and method development in some critical testing method including (PAHs, Tocopherols and Mycotoxins).
  • (current instrument dealing with: TSQ Altis LCMSMS, TSQ Altis plus, Orbitrap explosris 120, GC /MS MS 1300 & 1310 coupled with TSQ 9610).
  • Previously, Senior chemist, Adeco group, Abha food safety lab, Toxins department, KSA. besides contribution in routine work and method development in determination of the honey quality including different testing methods (sugar content, HMF, Diastase activity, humidity, etc.,)
  • Previously, Authorized Analyst, Central Labs of Alexandria (CLA) (17025 accredited lab by EGAC), Toxins department (pesticide residues and Mycotoxins), Alexandria, Egypt.
  • Pesticide analysis using QUEChERS methods followed by UPLC/MS MS (Agilent 1290/6460) and UPLC/MS MS (Thermo Ultimate 3000/TSQ Quantum Access Max).
  • Mycotoxin analysis using Fluorometer, ELISA and UPLC/MS MS (Agilent 1290/6460) and (Thermo Ultimate 3000/TSQ Quantum Access Max) techniques in different food commodities.
  • Assist TM in Discovering root causes for non-conforming technical works.
  • Improve laboratory quality activities on a continuous basis ("continuous improvement").
  • Participate in writing working instructions and test methods (SOPs).
  • Handle samples and performing analyses according to QPs and test methods (SOPs).
  • Participate in periodical Quality meeting.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and calibrated, report all deficiencies (e.g., equipment malfunctions) in the appropriate manner.
  • Participate in calculating the Uncertainty for lab results.
  • Responsible for achieving all validation parameters according to lab quality procedures, GLP and SANCO 2021, (V.2).
  • Give opinions and comments on the results.
  • Internal auditor for quality assurance system.
  • Responsible for the training of new analyst in pesticide residue analysis and Mycotoxin analysis.
  • Participated as a senior member of the Egyptian delegation for assuring the quality of the imported wheat from France (Rouen and Dunkirk) in 2015.
