Responsibilities:

• Acting subsurface coordinator for one onshore and one offshore gas projects
• Supporting BOM / FEDM maturing different opportunities through Shell E2E & ORS processes while integrating all subsurface input under IRM umbrella
• Taking leading role in delivering asset business plan by managing and influencing different internal and external stakeholders including operator.
• Integrating all business plan inputs together for transparent and robust BP promise; such as production forecast, drilling sequence, CAPEX, OPEX, exploration, etc.
• Delivering reservoir engineering work for largest recent gas discoveries onshore Egypt

Achievements:

• Saved $ 500,000 by creating business plan workflows which enhances credibility and robustness of Shell Egypt BP
• Saved 10,000 of FTEs through business plan workflows
• Creating experimental design model which integrate reservoir engineering and statistical risk analysis which enhances team understanding of subsurface risks for pre DG3 projects

Responsibilities:

• Delivering reservoir engineering work during assess and select phases for Aphrodite Gas Project - offshore Cyprus
• Custodian of Integrated Asset Modelling (IAM - IPMS)
  
• Liaising with team to deliver trustworthy asset’s quarterly reserve review through maintaining and updating numerical reservoir simulation models, material balance models, decline curve analysis, and IAM
  
• Evaluating third part gas projects in Egypt and also from Cyprus and Greece

Achievements:

• Pinpoint value of overlooked reservoir layer in Aphrodite project; it has potential to add extra of ~ 5% gas recovery with no major CAPEX spend
• Developing VBA utility that enhanced integration between subsurface and economics teams
  

Responsibilities:

• Routine and special core analysis for tight sandstone gas reservoir
• Successfully creating new petrophysical correlations for reservoir rock typing; such as synthetic capillary pressure from NMR data

Achievements:

• New petrophysical correlations used to analysis similar uncored reservoirs in Australia.

Responsibilities:

• Creating analytical model to track GOC and WOC of Panna field
• Assessing condensate dropout of Panna field and decide whether to convert reservoir model to compositional model or not
• Optimizing infill wells campaign.

Achievements:

• Saving ~ 3 months that would have been spent on building new simulation compositional model

Responsibilities:

• Merging, interpreting, and analyzing asset pressure transient tests since inception; total of ~ 30 test from 8 wells producing since 1995
• Updating and history-matching material balance and numerical reservoir simulation models for business planning and FDP
• Creating rate transient analysis models for reservoir performance analysis

Achievements:

• Projection of increasing production by 20% by workover wells.
• Introducing rate transient analysis as a way of reservoir analysis

Responsibilities:

• Delivering workover campaign by recognizing and selecting workover candidates and identifying different well baskets to maximize and restore production from existing wells
• Building and maintaining wells' performance models for phase 8b and 9a of WDDM development
• Updating material balance models and wells models for WDDM IPSM

• Enhancing reservoir recovery factor by optimizing water injection rates and VRR.
• Improving quality of production data used for analysis and decision taken for development by verifying EC production tests.
• Leading well by well review to recognize opportunities for increasing recovery.
• Maximizing oil production rates by optimizing candidates for gas lift.
• Chasing any opportunity to increase production by reviewing Open Hole Logs and dynamic data searching for any adding perforation opportunity.
• Optimizing well production by doing water shutoff or re-perforation by analyzing PLT logs.
• Conciliate recoverable reserve using decline curve analysis and material balance.
