Job Summary :
As a 3rd-year resident, I am expected to perform advanced clinical duties in anaesthesia, critical care, and pain management. I am gaining extensive experience in managing complex cases, and contributing to the educational and research missions of the hospital while working under the guidance of experienced faculty.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Anaesthesia Management:
Administer anaesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures including elective and emergency cases.
Conduct thorough preoperative assessments, including reviewing patient history and performing physical examinations.
Develop and implement anaesthesia plans tailored to individual patient needs, considering comorbid conditions and procedural requirements.
Monitor patients during procedures, adjust anaesthesia levels as necessary, and ensure optimal patient safety and comfort.
Manage postoperative care, including pain management and monitoring for complications.
2. Critical Care:
Provide care for critically ill patients in the ICU, managing complex clinical scenarios including acute respiratory failure, sepsis, and multi-organ dysfunction.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
