Worked firsthand with new immigrants looking to find employment opportunities outside the GTA at a non-profit organization. Helped organize and run their annual Rural Employment Job Fair where over 400 individuals attended. Researched and approached multiple organizations to invite them to the job fair personally. Produced multiple market research reports to find investment opportunities regarding the rural economy and government aid, among other things.

Spent three months of training and shadowing at an investment bank in Egypt. Observed the employees while they were working on valuations, including discounted cash flow and price per earnings. Was responsible for analyzing the financial statements of a company and produced a brief to present to investors with the valuation of the company’s equity.

Worked in the dealing room in the Egyptian Head Office of the French multinational Bank Credit Agricole. Observed traders in the treasury bond market, the foreign exchange market, and worked with derivatives.
