Since 2005, I have graduated DP cohorts annually, many of whom now serve as IB educators and coordinators. As a Programme Leader, Consultant, and Reader for IBEN, I actively support schools globally while overseeing two IB World Schools in Egypt. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead academic operations for two IB World Schools—Carleton College and Manaret Heliopolis International School—as Principal and High School Superintendent.
  • Oversee the full implementation and development of the IB Diploma Programme, while supporting the growth of MYP and PYP.
  • Guide schools through authorization and evaluation cycles, including self-study coordination, strategic planning, and post-visit development.
  • Draft and align internal policies and curriculum documentation with IB Programme Standards and Practices.
  • Professional Development & Mentorship
  • Facilitate ongoing professional development for staff across both campuses, delivering workshops on ATL skills, assessment alignment, and IB documentation.
  • Mentor newly appointed IB Coordinators and aspiring school leaders, fostering leadership capacity and programme fidelity.
  • Provide coaching and instructional guidance to teaching teams, supporting successful planning, teaching, and reflection practices aligned with IB philosophy.
  • External Engagement & Recognition
  • Co-led the hosting of a major national Cognia education conference at Carleton College, attended by 140 schools including IB World Schools. Notable attendees included Mr. Olli-Pekka Heinonen (Director General, IBO), Dr. Kawther Saa’d AlDin (IB Development & Recognition Manager), Mr. Adrian Kearney (Director, IB World Schools) and Kem Hussain (Senior Vice President Global Strategy and Development at Cognia)
  • Represented ACE Schools at university engagement events and local educational fairs to advocate for IB Diploma recognition and credit transfer agreements.
  • Hosted official school visits from institutions in Malaysia, Cairo, and other parts of Egypt seeking to learn from our IB practices through classroom tours and faculty dialogue.
