Assignment of a severity should be at the discretion of Local IT Support, with IGA manager & BPD IT DPE input should the incident be high impact
Local hands and eyes support, including desktop support, local comms room cabling etc. On the ground support.
Insure Local IT Support follow up the Incident with the user(s) and will most likely find a local resolution. If the problem appears to be affecting multiple users the focal point Local IT Support representative should establish whether there appears to be Local IT issue, spanning multiple groups and accounts or whether it appears to be a specific application issue, which maybe client owned.
