With 13 years of experience in the manufacturing of the metalized film industry, I have successfully contributed to various projects involving the installation of Alubond metalizers (2 BOBST & 4 Nordmeccenica) and Slitter (1 Atlas & 5 JKampf) at Uflex Egypt. These projects were executed with Full Bonafanti Automation, showcasing expertise in ensuring efficient and high-quality production processes.

Job Responsibility.

· To ensure production of metalized film in accordance with the production plan, meeting targets in terms of productivity and efficiency

· Assigning duties, maintaining discipline and keeping control of the entire work process

· Taking decisions on internal department issues and troubleshooting problems

· To establish procedures and work processes throughout the department which assure consistent best quality of the product, and a smooth processing of material from receiving input rolls from primary slitting to palletization of finished reels

· Ensuring the metallizer operators are complying with safety instructions as per company policy

· Reports any accidents involving operators and/or equipment and proposes measures to prevent or avoid them in the future

· Optimum utilization of manpower with respect to the working hours / shifts

· Preventing bottlenecks in metalizing and re-slitting which would affect the mainline production

· Controlling the quality of base and slit metalized film related rejections and wastage

· Minimizing Metalizers downtime to ensure production targets are met

· Reviewing individual employee's performance in terms of quality, quantity of work and motivating the employees to develop their skills so as to improve the department performance

· Reviewing and tracking customer complaints and taking appropriate actions to avoid their occurrence

· Optimization of inventory management for base film (together with Planning and Slitting department)

· Monitor metallizer machines' and equipments' condition, ensure that the technical condition of equipment (Metalizers, slitters, cranes etc.) is consistently fit for the purpose, by applying timely reactive and preventative maintenance in coordination with the engineering department

· Responsible for managing the ISO audits in the Metalizer area and maintaining the plant and area of supervision as per the set quality standards

· Coordinate with the planning, mainlines, quality control and other departments for daily production activities.

· To ensure that accurate production figures are being recorded in time in the production system and in any other form required to obtain regular production reports

· Participate in daily technical committee meetings and discuss daily production issues (related with outputs, quality defects, maintenance downtime, manpower performance, new ideas / implementations etc) and take corrective actions to improve the quality of services provided

· Responsible for spares / consumables items cost controlling and inventory management related to metallization

· Plan and coordinate the work of staff, adjusting work assignments and schedules to maintain adequate staffing levels and respond to fluctuating workloads

· Review applicant credentials, participate in interviewing candidates and recommend hiring. Evaluate employee performance; prepare performance appraisals, and discipline and reward employees. Resolve personnel problems, complaints and formal grievances at the initial level

· Provide initial orientation to new employees, assess training needs of staff and arrange or provide appropriate instruction. Counsel employees in work related activities, personal growth and career development.

· Maintain ISO procedures and documentations

· Performs other related duties that may be assigned by superiors.

· Constant cleaning activity of the machines and keep the area tidy and clean
