Sherif Hefnawy

With over 14 years of experience in the cement industry, I am a passionate and innovative leader who oversees the concrete research and quality assurance functions at El Sewedy Cement Company (ESCC), one of the largest cement producers in Egypt and Africa. My mission is to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance for all the cement products and services that ESCC offers to its customers and stakeholders, as well as to develop and implement new solutions and best practices that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of the cement production process. As the Head Of Concrete Research labs, I have successfully led the development and improvement of the concrete research facilities.
I have also leveraged my expertise in cement technology, which I have acquired through my academic background and professional development, to provide technical guidance and support to the quality control, quality assurance, physical and concrete departments, as well as to collaborate with external partners and clients on various projects and initiatives. In addition, I have enhanced my skills and knowledge in Total Quality Management, data analysis, and web development, through obtaining various certifications and courses that complement my role and responsibilities. I am always eager to learn new things, challenge myself, and contribute to the growth and success of ESCC and the cement industry as a whole
