responsibilities as follow:
• Responsible that the capacity and procurement strategy in the Country, as well as
its execution, is in line with the global product and trade lane strategy.
• Working on the Global Projects Freight & Clearance process.
• Working on the problems occurred for the shipments from or to the trade lanes
countries.
• Handling the Global accounts with the trade lane countries.
• Set up the capacity planning (allotments, BSA, consolidation share) based on the
carrier strategy, the trade lane plans and guidelines received from Regional Air
Freight.
• Ad-hoc capacity buy, to optimize cost of sale.
• Develop and monitor corrective actions in case of deviations of actual Air
Freight/Ocean Freight Product performance against plan.
• Ensure the management of capacity agreements in the respective systems.
• Provide input to the Regional Head of Air Freight /Ocean Freight& Procurement
on pricing analysis and support resolution of Country concerns (e.g., capacity
management / better pricing / selection of carriers)
• Decide on spot rates for new business opportunities.
• Ensure up-to-date and confirmed selling rates.
• Monitor, control and consolidate performance feedback for regional review
meetings.
• Hold local incentive agreements negotiations - in alignment and with approval
from Global Air Freight /Ocean Freight& Procurement.
• Analyze cargo flows / cargo mix / consolidation benefit / GP out of Country.
• Maintain and cultivate local relationships with carriers.
• Following the daily Import &Export Shpt with the countries in the trade lane to
work on
• Arranging yearly visit plan with the trade lane countries
• Work pro-actively with the assigned key accounts by improving awareness of
business offerings.
• Actively generate sales leads and communicate to overseas counterparts.
• Responsible for trade lane business development by identifying and securing
major target accounts.
• Support operations and account management for route specific issues.
• Collect and report market information regularly to senior management.
• Maintain high levels of activity and customer focus.
• Work within network of DSV to ensure collaboration around target accounts.
• Support in the procurement of rates from overseas and act as guide consultant for
tenders related to their associated trade lane.
• Report on market information, competitor activities, product issues etc.
• Monitor results/progress of business development on a regular basis.
• Organize/attend regular customer meetings between DSV key personnel and
customers to facilitate service improvements and consolidate customer
relationships.
