  • Patent from Japan, named Environmentally Ionic Reactor (EIR) for Waste to Energy Conversion, 2022, Japan
  • Title of the invention: The thermochemical conversion process and a thermochemical conversion device
  • The planet's environmental problems, such as global warming and climate change, have become serious issues in all countries, whether advanced or developing
  • This proposed innovation is a new environmental concept that supports current or new waste disposal issues
  • This invention has a great importance for energy production and safe disposal of all kinds of waste with minimum emissions to the environment
  • This invention is a reactor and related to the thermochemical conversion method (pyrolysis, gasification, and incineration) in a very innovative process
  • This invention has many advantages according to energy and environmental impact such as, no pre-segregation of wastes is required, inert material (metals, glass, etc.), can be recovered from the ash material and the remaining ash is approximately 1% only
  • Also, it has low emissions, prevents the formation of NOx, HCL, Dioxin, and dust emissions with low costs, in terms of operational and maintenance cost
  • In addition, any kind of burnable wastes and non-inert waste are thermally decomposed and changed into ceramic-like ash material
  • This novel technology based on producing an electric field that causes a negative ion carried by the introduce air into the reactor and with steady temperature, it formed an ionization space and the combination between the oxygen atoms break up
  • Under the condition of closed magnetic heat effect, electron accelerates from the separation of atoms
  • Negatively charged electrons and positively charged nucleus constantly interact with each other and form a plasma state and will completely oxidized organic matter from the surface into scrawled oxide element to the element state
  • The treated organic matter was indirect magnetization (wind cloud) which greatly improve the pyrolysis and makes the organic matter completely carbide and completes free-pollution disposal of organic hazardous substances
